Get an Eye Exam Done

When you do look into your eyesight or even getting glasses, make sure that you talk with your eye doctor and tell them how much you use devices when you are at work or even at home. Use Good Lighting in your Office
Eye strain is often caused by bright light that either comes from outdoor sunlight coming in, or even harsh interior lighting. When you use a computer, you should make sure that your ambient lighting is half the brightness as normal offices. You also need to make sure that you eliminate any exterior lighting that may be overbearing, by having some curtains or blinds put up. Minimise Glare as Much as Possible
Glare from light, that could be bouncing off walls or even finished surfaces can also give you way more eyestrain than you might think. If possible, you need to try and install an anti-glare finish on your screen. If you can, try and paint any bright walls that you have in a darker colour that may have a matte finish. If you happen to wear glasses, then you should know that it is possible to find ones that come with an anti-reflective coating.
Upgrade your Screen
If you have not done this already then you need to replace your tube monitor with one that is flat-panel. You also need to make sure that it has an LED screen. This will cause less stress for your eyes, and it will also make sure that you are putting less strain on yourself. If possible, you need to try and choose a screen that is anti-reflective. You may be wondering how CRT screens are worse for your eyes, but the truth is that they can create a notable flicker of images, and this is actually a huge cause of eyestrain. Even if you notice that the flicker is somewhat imperceptible, you should know that it can contribute to eyestrain quite a lot so keep that in mind. It may be causing you way more fatigue than you realise.
